On March 9, 2020, the Catholic Law Office of Development & Alumni Relations held a networking reception hosted and sponsored by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP at the Washington, D.C., office. Alumni from the D.C. area, current evening program students, and accepted students attended the reception.

Catholic Law Alumni Council President and Senior Counsel at Akin Gump, Stanley Woodward '08, welcomed guests to the event and introduced the evening's guest speakers—Patrick Regan '80, member of the Catholic Law Board of Visitors, and President and Senior Partner of Regan Zambri Long, and Carla Mouta-Bellum '10, partner at ALGM. Both Regan and Mouta-Bellum shared about their experiences in the Law School and how Catholic Law helped them on their path to success. The event highlighted the supportive network of alumni at Catholic Law.
